Heart vs. Mind

The heart versus the mind is a dichotomy we tend to carry with us. Which do I follow? How can I join them together? When I’m laying in bed at night I see this scene, the battle of the day. It actually feels like two different people who creep into each other’s space — they’re learning to coexist. The goal is not to fight, but to have each side at peace and light as a feather. Finding the correct balance daily is a challenge, because it changes everyday. Some days our heart’s desires make sense and sometimes we feel the need to stifle what feels good for what is right in our mind. They’re in the field together, therefore they contribute to the ecosystem, the body, as a whole.
